Three different from three
Chrislie Pérez Pérez Pérez
Three is a number with a strong symbolic charge. In art, it could be associated with the sculptural, the installation, or any other manifestation that implies three-dimensionality.
3 ≠ 3 involves the poetics of names known within the artistic field for their experimentation with space. Iván Capote, Esterio Segura and Roberto Diago come together in this show from the difference. His totally dissimilar discourses are articulated to generate an exhibition corpus where the object prevails and its relationship with the location.
Esterio Segura's proposal focuses on the book in both form and content, to explain the tangled interstices in the distribution of knowledge. Diago, for its part, is committed to recycling and monumentality of a structure that could function as a sacred wall. For Ivan, the word continues to be the meaning and structure of works that are defined in a subtle and ironic conceptualism.
THREE ARTISTS, THREE DIMENSIONS, THREE DISCOURSES. THREE WHICH IS EQUILIBRIUM, BUT ALSO DIVERGENCE.
