Exhibition by Yali Romagoza. Gallery of the Public Library Rubén Martínez Villena. Obispo street Nr. 59 between Oficios and Baratillo, Old Havana. May - June 2017

The exhibition presents the artist's most recent work with pieces ranging from drawings, collages, installations, sculptures and video.

It is a public reflection of the artist on her femininity in relation to the social body. Exploring notions of isolation, oppression, and marginality. It brings us closer to the thought process of what is said and/or silenced; and vice versa.

In her artistic practice Yali has blurred the line between fashion design and visual art, so she has always been forced to answer the same question: Are you an artist or a fashion designer? With this exposition that question is finally answered.
