Yonlay Cabrera

ARTIST

Graduate of Art History and with basic formation in visual arts, he is also art critic and curator. His artistic work is conditioned by science and emerging technologies, as catalyst of the discourse and not only as tools. Yonlay uses ways and resources that changes according to the technology and scientific discovering. Other issue in his work is the discussion on authorship, including collaborators in his processes, believing that the next step of art resides in collaboration and interchange; as a common fact of every creative person. Yonlay considers the artist reintegrated into society, to offer to other fields of knowledge an expressive and self-discuss liberty, to generate new dynamics, other ways of making accessible the information and to find sense to dreamers projects without industrial applicability.
